We are happy to announce the completion of the two-day training event focused on Stress and Trauma Sensitive Approaches, along with comprehensive Self-care practices!
In our commitment to providing the best support for survivors of CRSV, Medica Gjakova delivered a training aimed to equip the GoK Comission for Recognition and Verification of the Status of Sexual Violence During the Kosovo Liberation War with the necessary tools and techniques to handle sensitive situations with survivors with empathy and expertise; all based on the UN standards and feminist approach.
During these two days, we dove into understanding stress and trauma, exploring approaches that prioritize sensitivity and care. Moreover, we’ve also prioritized the well-being of the commission by emphasizing self-care practices that are essential for maintaining resilience and effectiveness in their vital work.
Together, we’re building a safer and more compassionate environment for all.
Let’s continue our journey towards creating a society full of empathy and support for the CRSV survivors.
