On April 30, the meeting of the Steering Committee was held as part of the THTP 3 project – “Improving Sensitivity to Stress and Trauma in Healthcare Services for Women and Girls Survivors of Gender-Based Violence and Sexual Violence.”
The members of the Steering Committee are representatives delegated from Kosovo’s healthcare institutions, including the Ministry of Health (MoH), The Chamber of Doctors the Chamber of Nurses, the Health Directorates of municipalities, as well as the Family Health Care Centers and the regional hospitals of Peja, Mitrovica, Klina, and Istog.
The members of the Steering Committee showed interest and commitment in advancing this phase of the project, emphasizing the importance of institutionalizing healthcare services that are sensitive to stress and trauma.
The recommendations from this meeting are expected to help improve services and support healthcare staff who work with women and girls survivors of gender-based violence and sexual violence.
