Successful Completion of Journalist Training!
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the journalist training on “Sexual Violence and Conflict Sensitive Reporting” held on the 17th and 18th of May. This training aimed to ensure that a human rights and victim-centered approach to reporting, reflective of the Dealing with the Past Principles, is utilized.
Conducted by the esteemed Serbeze Haxhiaj and supported by UNMIK – United Nations Mission in Kosovo , this training emphasized the importance of sensitive and ethical journalism in addressing cases of sexual violence and conflict. By equipping journalists with the necessary skills and knowledge, we can foster more accurate, respectful, and impactful reporting that respects the dignity of survivors and contributes to a more informed and empathetic public discourse.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this training a success!
