On 09.12.2019 on behalf of the global campaign “16 days of activism against gender based violence” with the theme “Gender equality stands against rape”, the “I am Anemone” book was promoted at the National Theater of Kosovo in Prishtina.
This event was followed with the brilliant and heartfelt performance of the amazing national theater actors Anisa Ismajli, Albulena Kryeziu Bokshi, Edona Reshitaj, Rebeka Qena, Shengyl Ismajli and Ylber Bardhi, under the direction of Besim Ugzmajli, whom with their performance, brought the voice of the survivors whose stories were included in the book. Then, a discussion panel was developed with the panelists:
Mirlinda Sada – executive director of Medica Gjakova
Dr. Ass. Linda Gusia – sociologist
Xhevahire Balaj – psychologist at Diakonie Center Kosovo
